BIO
As a fourth-generation Beech Grove resident, I am deeply invested in the continued success of the city and am passionate about seeing us continue to be a strong, prosperous community.
I was born and raised in Beech Grove, and some of my earliest memories are coming down to Main Street to the meat market with my grandpa, Benny, and spending many autumns at the annual Fall Festival. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Indianapolis and a Master’s degree in Producing for Film and Television from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
In my career thus far I have worked in multiple industries including local television news and radio, as well as film and scripted television where I have managed the budgets and payrolls of large scale, multi-million dollar productions most recently at Amazon Studios.
I am also a small business owner and have owned and operated Silver Linings Coffeehouse on Main Street since 2021.
GOALS
Beech Grove is full of activities – including regularly scheduled events for kids of all ages, First Friday Art Walks, the Franciscan Trail, and an ever-growing Main Street. It’s clear why in 2022, Forbes named our city as the 4th best in the nation for first time homeowners.
While the last several years has seen the aforementioned progress and success, the next several years will come with challenges and even more opportunities for growth and revitalization throughout the city. My mission is to always maintain transparency and uphold responsible spending as we continue to invest in all areas of this community.
Along with maintaining and balancing budgets, and continuing to record consistent surpluses, as Clerk-Treasurer, a priority will be to make our city’s website a centralized hub of information that would outline everything the city has to offer and increase our communications efforts.
There are so many opportunities for engagement in this community. Having one place to find this information updated regularly will not only increase local involvement, but will also bring in visitors from surrounding areas into our city to enjoy what we have to offer.
I’ve always known what a great city Beech Grove is, and I can’t wait to get to know more of you.
